🧠 NLP Answer Checking
One checker for every typed answer: Answer Shortly and Monarch Methodology. Spaces, hyphens, capitals and punctuation never matter, so "de referencing" always equals "dereferencing". Changes here apply right away, with no push needed.
Test an answer
See whether a student's answer would pass, and why. Nothing is saved.
Treat as the same
Answers that always count as each other, in every game and at every difficulty, e.g. LIFO = last in first out.
Close but marked wrong
Recent answers that were marked wrong but came close. Accept adds a "treat as the same" pair so it counts next time. Only the answer text is kept (never who typed it), and entries are deleted after 30 days.
Strictness by difficulty
The host picks Easy, Normal or Hard when starting a game. Monarch Methodology always uses Normal.
| Easy | Normal | Hard |
|---|
Lower accepts more loosely worded answers; higher is stricter. Meaning match only applies to answers of 3+ words.
