SUMMER BETA

Summer Beta is a free, independent game development competition for local high school students, Rowan University students, and Rowan alumni. Organized by Benjamin Weidner, Assistant Teaching Professor and Rowan University alumnus.

We are raising a student prize fund for our inaugural event. 100% of prize fund contributions go directly to the winning developers.

Gift Cards & In-Kind Donations
Direct monetary contributions aren't the only way to support Summer Beta. Local businesses are welcome to donate gift cards, merchandise, experiences, or other comparable in-kind gifts to be awarded to the winning teams during the presentation event.

Every dollar donated goes to the students; donations never buy a chance at a prize. When a local business provides a prize, it will be featured on the Summer Beta website and announced at the event. Winning teams must be present in person to claim their prize.
